Shaka Shoes are the most comfortable and versatile clogs you'll ever own. Shaka Shoes are the NEXT GENERATION resin shoe that combines the comfort of clogs with Hawaiian style, improved arch support and the newest material.
The SHAKAZORB™ Poly Closed Cell Resin (PCCR) impact absorbing resin material molds to your feet as it warms and softens with your body heat. Your feet position for ultimate foot comfort and health with the orthotic heel design, arch support, and the acupressure footbed. Because the resin is closed cell, it is anti-microbial in nature. This means that it is resistant to the bacteria and fungus that cause shoe and foot odor and disease. Say goodbye to smelly clogs and itchy feet!
With the heel strap in place, Shaka Shoes are a perfect shoe for beach wear, fishing, water sports, boating, and diving. Unlike sandals, Shaka Shoes cover and protect your feet yet provide proper ventilation. The vents allow air, sand, and water to move through freely.
Shaka Shoes are Custom Shoes!
Because of the amazing new material, Shaka Shoes and Shaka Sandals always custom fit them-selves to your feet. These are the best value you'll ever find for custom fitted shoes. The patented SHAKAZORB material molds and shapes the shoe to perfectly fit each individual foot, everytime you take a step. Walking in ShakaShoes is like walking in fine warm sand. When you get your Shakas on you'll walk IN the shoes instead of ON the shoes.
A typical problem for anglers who fish along shore or from boats is what shoes to wear. Rubber soles are solid in the river but slippery in a drift boat. Sea boots are good in foul weather but too hot on a warm day. Sandals are comfortable but leave your feet unprotected, and most of the soles mark decks and you never have the sure footing that you need when the big one strikes. Top-Siders and their clones are comfortable, non-marking and skid-resistant, but seawater cracks the leather models and they will stay wet all day and night. Running and athletic type shoes will be wet before you get the boat off the trailer and could stay wet for the duration of the weekend. This leaves only the Shaka Shoe.
Shaka Shoes are the next generation of the absolute hottest trend in amphibious footwear. Shakas are made from a not-too-soft closed-cell resin that feels like standing on a cloud, weigh 12 ounces a pair, are nonskid, non-marking, antibacterial and they float. They're also the most comfortable clogs you've ever worn, whether a doctor, a nurse, a teacher, a chef, a hiker, an Americas Cup deck hand or a whitewater river guide. Shaka Shoes are perfect to hop on a boat, stroll on the beach, or walk to a meeting.
If you're on your feet a lot, especially in wet or slippery environments, Shaka Shoes will change your life for less than $30 a pair!
Shaka Shoes are incredibly slip-resistant because the resin has a very high co-efficient of friction. They will not mark floors or boat decks.
If you wear Shaka Shoes in or around the water, you'll notice they even float!
Shaka Shoes are a breeze to clean. If you get them dirty, just hose them off! Sterilize your Shaka Shoes in ten parts water to one part chlorine. A rubber cleaner such as Armor All will restore their original luster.
Shaka Shoes are Comfort Clogs!
Shaka Shoes are great for feet! They are ideal for people who are on their feet all day and need comfortable and slip-resistant shoes. They make an easy-to-clean-up gardening shoe. People who like comfortable shoes (hair stylists, sales reps, food service and health care professionals) all love their Shaka Shoes. Try a pair in any color and we bet you'll be hooked!Evolution of Rubber Clogs
Beginning in 1831, Charles Goodyear (Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company) developed and manufactured the first rubber shoes over a 13 year period. During this time he founded many factories that manufactured rubber shoes and life preservers in several northeastern states. These ventures all failed and Charles Goodyear OFTEN went broke because the shoes only lasted a short time before the rubber got sticky and fell apart. Goodyear was undaunted by the little set backs and was always determined that he could develop a process to make good rubber shoes. After Charles Goodyear received Patents for the vulcanization process in 1844-1846, he and his two brothers opened several rubber products factories.
The evolution of rubber clogs continues...
A family business that loves what we do because we love what Shaka Shoes do for us. Starting out in a small dive shop in Kona, and now expanded to over 100 dealers in the United States and internationally, our mission is to give everyone a little piece of Hawaii... a little “Aloha fo da feet”.
4 brothers, and da wives and kids...living on the Big Island of Hawaii... needed a good shoe.
Not just any da-kine shoe would do... (check out da family pic, and you see why!)
What do YOU think of when you think “Hawaii”? Beaches and flip-flops?
Eh braddah, we got beaches, but das only da beginning! We talkin’ ’bout da BIG ISLAND!
Snow-capped mountains (believe it!), tropical rainforests and waterfalls, live volcanoes, deep canyons and black-sand beaches, choke acres of ranch lands... you name it, we got it!
So we needed a shoe that can go anywhere, and do anything. We knew if we could find a shoe that fit the Big Island, it would work anywhere else.
Guess what? Shaka Shoes work... and play!
From the beach to the boardwalk, from the slopes to the Strip, from the half-pipe to the boat, Shaka Shoes has something for everyone. Even the keiki kids and the ol' kapunas love ‘em.
Shaka Shoes and Shaka Gear. No matter what you do, or where you live, it's time to get your Shakas on!
